We started in freight forwarding in 1975 and became a full logistics provider in 2005, when the company took the name Global Shipping & Logistics. More than 100 global and local brands now run their UAE and regional operations from our warehouses.

Seven services, one logistics partner

International freight
Sea freight for full and part container loads, air freight through our partner network, and land freight across the Middle East. We run it door to door, project cargo included.

Customs clearance
Our PROs prepare declarations, attend cargo inspections, handle appeals and keep import and export paperwork moving across the UAE and the wider GCC.
- 03
Port haulage
Trucks of different sizes for long and short haul. We match the vehicle to the load and bring in partner carriers by road, sea or air when a job needs them.

Cold chain warehousing
Frozen, chilled, cool and ambient storage, plus a customs bonded warehouse. Temperature and humidity are logged continuously for every chamber.

Value added services
Co-packing, shrink wrapping, date and bar coding, labelling, kitting, promotional inserts and cross docking, done in the building where your stock already sits.

Distribution
Temperature-controlled vehicles deliver just in time across the UAE, from the port to the end user. Reverse logistics brings returns back for re-use, recycling or compliant disposal.

Stocktaking & merchandising
A fully outsourced counting team for cycle counts, targeted counts, store inventories, retail warehouse checks and stock relocation.
Certified to five standards
GSL applied for every certification it holds in 2007 and was awarded all of them after its first audit in 2008. External auditors review our processes every year, and our own team audits in between.

Cold chain warehousing
Temperature control from the dock door to the rack
Cool chambers run between +15°C and +25°C and cold chambers from 0°C down to -25°C. Engineered docks with shelters hold the temperature while trucks load and unload.
The warehouse management system has IT support around the clock and every site is under 24/7 CCTV. Large marshalling areas leave room for staging, inspections and pallet building.
